LCF FLOAT LEVEL SWITCH

 1. OVERVIEW 

LCF flooded plant alarm device is divided into two parts: connecting rod, float level switch and installation protection cylinder. 

The float level switch is composed of junction box, connecting rod, float, etc. Each control liquid point in the stainless steel connecting rod is equipped with a Hall switch, and the float has a built-in special magnetic beam unit that only produces strong magnetism at a certain level, and when the float changes with the liquid level, the magnetic beam unit closes the corresponding Hall switch output contact signal.

A protective cartridge is installed to secure the support level switch and protect the level switch float from malfunction caused by human touch or splashing.

5. Installation

The installation process is completed as follows:

(1)Fix the protective cartridge mounting feet vertically to the gallery wall with expansion bolts (or otherwise).

(2)The level switch is inserted into the protective cylinder from top to bottom, and the level switch is fixed on the flange of the protective cylinder, please lock the flange bolt. To prevent the float from sliding and colliding freely during transportation, the float has been fixed with a cowhide band at the factory, please remove the cowhide band when installing.

(3)Unscrew the upper cover of the junction box, loosen the cable gland (Hummel connector), use the appropriate cable wire through the cable gland, and connect the terminals shown in Figure 3 and Table 1.

(4) Arrange and secure all outgoing cables, tighten the cable glands, and screw on the cover of the junction box.

6. Experimentation

1)Place the container filled with water under the installation cartridge to ensure that the level switch is in the container and the float does not come into contact with the container wall.

2)Open the junction box of the flooded plant protection device and measure the first alarm position terminal with a multimeter ohm file.

3)Move the container slowly from bottom to top, observe whether the float of the first alarm position of the flooded plant protection device rises with the rise of the water level, and observe the multimeter measurement results to detect whether the device is normal.

4)Repeat the above 2 and 3 steps to measure the working state of the float at the second alarm position.

5)Remove the water container.

6)Restore the junction box.

7. Notes

1)When ordering, attention should be paid to indicating the measurement range, whether the contact position is adjustable, the number of contacts, the normal status of the contact, the contact capacity, the float specification, the process interface, etc.

2)After the arrival of the goods, the demander should check whether the original and accessories are complete and intact according to the packing list, and contact the supplier as soon as possible if there is any damage.

3)The liquid level switch should be stored in a dry, ventilated, cool, non-corrosive environment, and should not be stored in high temperature and high humidity occasions. 

4)The spare level switch should be stored in the original box.

5)When the liquid level switch is stored, moved or installed, it must not be touched to prevent it from falling, so as not to cause damage to the switch. 

6)This product is a precision measuring element, it is strictly forbidden to impact, strong support or disassembly at will.

7)The instrument has a simple structure and is maintenance-free on site.

8)If the level switch cannot work normally, please return the level switch to our company for testing.
